Some of our clients wish to rent out their properties and we are often asked about how to go about it. Often you will find larger developers will offer their own management service, which includes handling rentals. Most of these, however, do not include advertising.

Advertising your properties for rental is not difficult, there are many ‘off the peg’ websites that you can use and Holiday Villa Rental companies that will for a fee advertise and handle all of the finance of renting to customers.

Prices should be linked to the seasons and will fluctuate accordingly. Turkey, having a longer available season from May until November and beyond if close to a golf course for example, is well placed for 6-7 months available rental time.

High Season will be July August and half of September.

Low Season May, June, Late September and October. Another price scale could be attached to March, April, November and December. January and February are generally rather too rainy to include!

If you prefer to have everything handled for you inclusive of management and getting customers, there are companies that will do it all for you and at a reasonable rate. The below websites may be useful to you.

You may also wish to try letting your property through a Holiday Company such as Simply Turkey. They will come and check that your property fulfils their criteria and put you on their books.
